He led his troops to victory from a severe disadvantageous situation at the “battle of Okehazama.” He made his name famous around the world. He carried out reforms one after another. And, he made rapid progress in unifying the whole country underneath him. Mokkoumon, the most well-known family crest among the 7 kinds of Nobunaga’s crests, was selected as a motif of the design. Mokkoumon is known to be used as a wish for the prosperity of his descendants. Ichimatsu Pattern, one of the Japanese traditional patterns and adopted to the emblem of Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. It is also arranged at the bottom right. (This continuous pattern also means prosperity. It is cherished by many people as a pattern that gives good fortune to one`s descendant’s or helps business expansion.)
